Happy Pride Month! This June, we're proud to present "Expressions of Pride," an open-call art exhibition created to celebrate identity, community, self-expression, and the many ways pride can be shared through art.

Submission drop offs begin today, June 2, and the deadline for drop offs is June 10.
Exhibitions dates: June 16 - July 4, 2026
Opening Reception: Saturday, June 20, 2-4pm

Entry Details:
-$15 entry fee per artwork (children and youth exempt from fee)
- Limit 2 entries per artist

Get ready for a quacking good time at the Fraser Valley Children’s Festival!

Join our Duck Adventure Quest, a free, self-guided activity designed for young explorers and their families. Throughout the Fraser Valley Children’s Festival, a flock of cheeky little ducks has hidden themselves at activity stations, attractions, vendor booths, and other fun locations. Follow the clues, explore the festival, and see if you can find them all!

Each duck is waiting at a special stop with a clue to help guide you on your adventure. Complete the quest and discover all the exciting experiences the Fraser Valley Children’s Festival has to offer.

Coming to the FVCF Again This Year – Cosmo & Jumps!

Get ready for laughter, circus magic, and unforgettable fun as Cosmo & Jumps return to the Fraser Valley Children’s Festival this year!

Melissa has spent a lifetime delighting audiences with her unique blend of clowning, juggling, and physical comedy. A graduate of the Clown Conservatory in San Francisco and former performer with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Melissa is also the founder of Cosmo Circus in Vancouver, BC. Her passion for bringing joy extends beyond the stage through her work with BC Children’s Hospital and Clowns Without Borders.

Joining her is, a dynamic movement artist specializing in flow arts, hat manipulation, juggling, dance, and clowning. With over 20 years of performance experience, Monica captivates audiences with her skill, creativity, and playful energy.

Together, Cosmo & Jumps have been entertaining audiences for over a decade with their hilarious antics, interactive performances, and circus-inspired fun that keeps kids and families smiling long after the show ends!

Submission Deadline (Artwork Delivery): June 23–30, 2026

The Mission Arts Council invites artists of all cultural backgrounds to submit work for United Voices, a group exhibition celebrating identity, heritage, and the many ways we share our stories through art. Each artwork must include a short artist statement (one brief paragraph) describing how it connects to the exhibition theme. All 2D & 3D visual mediums will be accepted.
