A few members of the Canadian Arctic Producers and Arctic Co-operatives Limited team recently joined volunteers from Baffinland Iron Mines, Egg Farmers of Canada, and many other organizations at Food Banks Canada's After the Bell packing event.

Over four shifts across two days, volunteers packed 220,000 hampers for school-aged children, helping support families and communities from coast to coast to coast.

It was inspiring to work alongside so many dedicated volunteers, including fellow co-operative Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Ltd., all coming together to make a meaningful impact.

Thank you to Food Banks Canada for organizing this important initiative and to everyone who contributed their time and energy.

For decades, Canadian Arctic Producers & La Guilde have partnered to support and showcase Inuit and Dene art. Through sculpture, prints, and wall hangings, this collaboration has helped bring the work of Northern artists to audiences across Canada and internationally.

Our partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing opportunities for Inuit and Dene artists and strengthening the communities they represent. We value La Guilde’s longstanding respect for the artists, their stories, and the cultural significance behind each work.

Together, we continue to create meaningful platforms for Northern art; built on trust, shared values, and a deep appreciation for the people who create it.

✨ Throwback to last year’s wall hanging exhibition at Feheley Fine Arts

September 27 - October 11, 2025

The exhibition featured 18 wall hangings in felt, embroidery, and beadwork, celebrating the creativity and skill of women textile artists from across Nunavut. These works reflect generations of shared knowledge, innovation, and distinctive techniques developed by artists across the North.

Canadian Arctic Producers (CAP) is grateful for this meaningful collaboration and for opportunities that help bring Inuit art to wider audiences.

Education in the North doesn’t stop at the classroom door.

It lives on the land.
It’s passed through stories, images, skills, and generations.

From people who work with the seasons to those who document life in the North, education is how culture is carried forward.

On International Day of Education, we celebrate Northern knowledge, lived experience, and the power of telling our own stories.

At Canadian Arctic Producers, we work closely with galleries to support Inuit art with professionalism, respect, and deep understanding, from sourcing and preparation to safe transport and delivery.

If your gallery is interested in sourcing Inuit art thoughtfully and responsibly, we’d love to hear from you.

Recognition doesn’t have to be disposable.

Inuit art carries stories of place, skill, and community. When gifted thoughtfully and sourced responsibly, it becomes a lasting way to recognise contribution and shared values, not just a moment of appreciation.

At CAP, we support organisations in gifting Inuit art with care, context, and respect for artists and communities.

Considering Inuit art for employee recognition, leadership gifts, or milestone moments?

We’re here to help you do it thoughtfully and responsibly.

✨ Happy New Year ✨

As we step into 2026, we are excited and grateful for the year ahead. Our goal this year is to educate more people about the beauty of Inuit art, to share where the art comes from, and to support as many artists and communities as possible.

We are proud to stand behind the artists and their stories, and to continue building meaningful connections between the art, the artists, and the people who collect it.

Thank you to all the artists for sharing your culture and creativity, and thank you to our clients for your continued support. Every purchase helps support artists and their communities.

Here’s to a year of growth, creativity, and community.
