Né aux Pays-Bas et installé au Canada depuis son enfance, Harold Klunder est une figure importante de la scène artistique canadienne. Son travail explore la matière, le geste et les superpositions, à la frontière de l’abstraction et de la figuration.

L’exposition présente un ensemble d’estampes réalisées au Studio PM de Paul Machnick.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in Canada, Harold Klunder is an important figure in the Canadian art scene. His work explores materiality, gesture, and layering, at the intersection of abstraction and figuration.

The exhibition features a selection of prints produced at Studio PM with Paul Machnick.

Pendant cette expérience de deux heures, les participants découvrent différentes techniques de gravure et d’impression à travers des démonstrations, des explications et une initiation pratique dans un véritable atelier d’impression.

Atelier-Galerie A. Piroir now offers printmaking demonstrations and introductions in its Mile End studio in Montreal.

During this two-hour experience, participants discover different printmaking techniques through demonstrations, explanations, and a hands-on introduction inside a working print studio.

Je suis retombée sur ces photos dans mon téléphone.
Des clichés pris par Ray Ruseckas chez Cynthia Reeves dans le New Hampshire, en 1999, juste avant que je parte travailler à New York.

Un immense merci à Cynthia et Ray d’avoir conservé ces souvenirs pendant toutes ces années, et à Catherine Farish d’avoir pensé à me les transmettre 🤍
