☀️ The sunshine is finally here and that means it’s time to get back outside and onto the courts! 🏓🎾

There’s no better way to kick off pickleball season than with an outdoor tournament, and the Spring Smash Pickleball Tournament is shaping up to be an amazing day of fresh air, fun competition, and community spirit right here in Neepawa!

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting into the game, this tournament is for YOU. Grab a partner, soak up the sunshine, and help us celebrate the start of summer pickleball season at the beautiful Hillcrest Pickleball Courts ☀️

An Indigenous History Month Community Learning Event

Join us on Wednesday, June 10 at ArtsForward for an afternoon of learning, connection, culture, and community as we come together to celebrate and honour Indigenous knowledge and traditions.

This meaningful community event will feature interactive learning opportunities including:

🪶 Drum Making
🪶 Medicine Teaching
🪶 Métis Art
🪶 Bannock Making

We invite everyone to come out, learn something new, ask questions, and take part in a welcoming community experience focused on shared understanding and growth.

🍴 Kick off the afternoon with a Traditional Bannock Taco Lunch open to the public from 12:00–1:00pm for just $10.

🌿🐦 Join us for a morning of creativity, connection, and fun at our Birdhouse Craft Class! 🐦🌿

As part of our 50+ Connection & Wellness Program, participants will create these adorable moss birdhouses while enjoying a relaxed and welcoming morning filled with laughter, conversation, and creativity.

A huge thank you to Spruce Acre Farms for providing the materials and guidance for this unique class, and to Healthy Together Now and Miles for Mental Health Neepawa for supporting this program.

Season Passes will be available on June 1st going forward, available at the pool Mon-Fri after4pm until 8:30pm and Sat/Sun from 11am - 7pm

Also note out June Get Active Free Classes:
Coached Lap Swim June 7th - 12 - 1pm
Aqua Fit June 23rd - 6 - 7pm (there will be no lap swim that evening)

Father's Day - Dad's Swim or Free (with paid child)

There are now only a few spots left for the ArtFest Plein Air Experience 2026! 🎨🌿

This is an incredible opportunity to paint alongside special guest artist Perry Haddock, Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, known for his expressive brushwork and joyful painting style.

Over three inspiring days, artists will have the chance to paint in both the breathtaking landscapes of Riding Mountain National Park and within the vibrant community atmosphere of Neepawa during ArtFest weekend.

🌿 Days 1 & 2 | July 16–17
Painting throughout Riding Mountain National Park in stunning outdoor locations.

🎨 Day 3 | Saturday, July 18
The workshop moves to Neepawa as part of ArtFest, featuring a morning demonstration and guided painting session with Perry, followed by a group critique later in the day for full workshop participants.

We are also pleased to share that Elkhorn Resort will be offering a group rate for visiting artists, and the Best Western Plus in Neepawa is a convenient option for those staying in town Saturday night.
