As our summer season winds down, we would like to thank all of our students that made this year so incredible!

The Friends of Fort George hired a total of 14 students this year to work at Brock’s Monument, the Gift Shop, and in the Infantry Squad program at Fort George!

They were all so passionate about Niagara’s history, and we are so proud of how far they came this year! We would like to wish them all the best of luck as they return back to school!

Brock's Birthday Bash

Join us at Brock's Monument on October 6, as we celebrate the life of the
hero of Upper Canada, Major General Sir Isaac Brock. This event will include
special presentations highlighting the life of Brock, and birthday treats.

Battle of Queenston Heights Commemorative Tour

October 13, 2026

To commemorate the 214th anniversary of the Battle of Queenston Heights and
the death of Major-General Sir Isaac Brock, the Friends of Fort George will
be offering a commemorative tour of the battlefield at 10 am, followed by a
tour of the Landscape of Nations Memorial.
