The incredible Julia Kane will be taking place in the NOTL studio tour next weekend. .j.kane One of our favourite local Artspace106 artists. 🟡🔵🟢🔴
She writes: “I love working with vibrant colours and am thankful for the gifts that allow me to express my passion and joy through my paintings and fused glass.

I am inspired by the lush agriculture of the Niagara area and love to paint vineyards, orchards, nature and flowers from my garden. I work in my home studio which includes a kiln for fused glass and often paint from photographs that I take or am given for commissions.”

“Most of my paintings are done in oils, with an underpainting of acrylic. I often incorporate mixed media images, usually of my own photos or artwork. In recent ‘Dreamscapes,’ I’ve added sea glass, tiles, and stones to the piece.”
