You never know where things will pop up.
Recently, a follower sent us an e-mail that he'd stumbled across a NORAD sign in an antique store in Calgary - it was originally located in the Underground Complex! How many people here walked past that sign on their way into work?
The object is for sale, and we want to bring it home to North Bay.
We're looking to crowdfund half of the cost to purchase and ship it here, about $750. If you'd like to see this piece in our museum's collection, we invite you to donate to the cause. You can visit the museum during regular Saturday hours, by appointment during the week, or by card over the phone at 705-494-2011 ext 628-2261. Tax receipts are available for donations over $10.
The company is going to keep the object on hold for two weeks for us - let's see how much we can raise before February 14!

Récemment, un abonné nous a envoyé un courriel pour nous dire qu'il était tombé sur un panneau NORAD dans un magasin d'antiquités à Calgary - il se trouvait à l'origine dans le complexe souterrain ! Combien de personnes ici sont passées devant ce panneau en se rendant au travail ?
L'objet est à vendre, et nous voulons le ramener à North Bay.
