Speaker Night is back from Summer hiatus this September! Join the BC Aviation Museum as we welcome September guest speaker, LCol Bruce Sutherland. His lecture, Hunting Russian Submarines during the Cold War, will be on Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm. Tickets are $5 at the door, refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Yesterday marked two years since the Hawaii Mars took its final flight, accompanied by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds to the BC Aviation Museum.

It has been a great two years, thank you to everyone for growing with us. Of course, thank you to the phenomenal Mars Media Team who took some historic photos for the museum archives. The credits are as follows.

WOW! Can we do this every weekend?

It was an absolute honour to have hosted the Canadian Forces Snowbirds this past weekend ahead of their air show in Victoria. From the flyover, the autograph signing to helping us dedicate our new CT- 114 Tutor “Snowbird 1” we couldn’t have asked for a better visit! Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us greet the Snowbird team this Open House weekend 🍁✈️

Snowbirds arrive at the museum this afternoon and we couldn’t be more excited! Admission by donation all day, food trucks onsite and fun for the whole family! 🍁✈️

Open House starts TODAY and we’re answering some of our most frequently asked questions! Slide one is a schedule of events for the two day Open House, please note that the Snowbirds will be at the museum on the AFTERNOON of the Monday, August 3rd.

Second slide the our parking map, please DO NOT drive down Norseman Rd unless you have accessible drop-off or parking. Parking is in the field next to the museum, please drive carefully in the field as there is uneven terrain.
