A busy, productive weekend to kick off the re-enacting season. Today we were on the move for Loyalist Day in Saint John. From the welcoming volley at Place Fort La Tour, to posting up at Loyalist House while our civilian corps helped with interpretive duties inside, to honouring the loyal refugees who founded our city, in the cemetery where thousands off them were laid to rest, it was a great day in wool. Over the Victoria Day long weekend the Friends of the New Brunswick Military History Museum were hard at work raising funds that help to support the museum. They were out at the Fredericton Boyce Farmers' Market with used military history books for sale.

Many thanks to Randall Haslett of the Friends (photographer), and to volunteer Randy Adams (pictured), for volunteering their time on a long-weekend to support the museum.

Au cours du long week-end de la fête de Victoria, les Amis du Musée d'histoire militaire du Nouveau-Brunswick ont travaillé d'arrache-pied pour collecter des fonds destinés à soutenir le musée. Ils étaient présents au marché fermier Boyce de Fredericton, où ils proposaient à la vente des livres d'occasion sur l'histoire militaire.

Un grand merci à Randall Haslett, membre des Amis (photographe), ainsi qu'au bénévole Randy Adams (sur la photo), pour avoir donné de leur temps pendant ce long week-end afin de soutenir le musée.
