Whispers of Spring

The snow retreats with softened tread,
And green begins to rise from bed.
A chorus wakes in budding trees—
The robin sings, the lilac breathes.

The air is laced with rain and sun,
A dance of life has just begun.
From muddy roots to skies so wide,
The world puts winter's sleep aside.

Crocus shyly peeks in bloom,
Breaking through the thawing gloom.
Children laugh where puddles gleam,
And dreams drift like a daisy’s dream.

Each breeze holds hints of something new—
Of skies more blue, of brighter hue.
Spring whispers softly, “Come and see
The world reborn in harmony.”
