Part 2 of using clear scraps.

When using only clear glass, you can use textures to give depth to a project…

Fishies are ready for their 1st firing and will go in kiln tomorrow. Depending on the results of this 1st firing, more texture may be required.

So many glass cut off!!! Follow us in the next few weeks to see what we create with clear leftover glass!

Let’s start with cutting circles, adding clear “puddles” and using them on a clear base. Will be tack fused then draped over a large stainless steel bowl.

Will post the result next week when completed, but tomorrow I will tackle the left over corners of large squares from which we had cut circles. Can you say “here fishy fishies”?

In the kiln for its 1st firing! If all goes well it will be transformed into a bowl once draped!
