We had a super time at our “Night at the Museum” event on October 9. We made homemade ice cream, did some crafts, had a scavenger hunt and then wrapped up the evening with snacks and the movie “Night at the Museum”. 😉
Special thanks to Coco Mercer and Michaela Gunderman who helped Treena, Starr and Tami in entertaining the kids.

What a great summer we had at the museum! Renovations were completed in June, programming was held and Aurora made many more updates to our displays over the summer months. We were thrilled this August to have Paul Twietmeyer come to do a mural on the shed door - we think it’s fantastic!

Including our Grand Re-opening, school tours and general admissions, we hosted over *520* visitors this year! And the fun is not done - we have a couple of tours booked this fall and we’re looking to host one more program for kids. Stay tuned for details.

If you’d like to come for a tour contact Tami Scott at 306-485-9780.

We had a great turnout (60!) and tons of fun yesterday with the ArcheoCaravan at the museum. Participants were able to talk to archeologists, view items, make clay pots, piece together clay dishes and try to bring down the bison with darts. Thanks to everyone who came out. Today, some of those participants toured the Galloway Snowplane at the Villa. If you missed it, the Snowplane will be at the Car Show Saturday morning.
