Art Transformational Retreat: Weekend
Black River Ridge – Prince Edward County - Ontario
A transformational weekend of art, awakening therapy, and peaceful connection. You, and your inner child will sketch, draw and paint. You will rediscover what it feels like to play again. Dreaming on paper, forms and figures may bubble up. You will get to try out different art materials and takeaway your art works. Create in a peaceful, natural, judgement free environment. Inspired by a glorious still life, inspiring teachers and inspiring setting.
Black River Ridge barn offers a large open, art event space, high ceiling, 6 skylights, fully equipped art workshop stations. Tremendous inside and outside views of nature and Lake Ontario. Inside you will create art from all angles, experience painting from the loft to experience a bird’s eye view. The barn interior is filled with paintings, acrylic wall hangings, art deco furniture and sculptures on display. Wash up stations, washrooms and indoor and outdoor meeting/meal/dining areas are available.
This is a rustic, natural setting with the clearing closely surrounded by woods and in summer, wildflowers. Beyond the barn are two high ridge fields where lavender and baby’s breath are grown to be used in the glorious, floral still life subjects.
