Hotels that are no longer….in Red Deer, AB
The Buffalo was closed by the time I moved here in 2013 (I believe there was still a coffee shop) but the Black Knight was very active until it was tore down. The restaurant had THE BEST steak sandwich ever!!

End of an era in Recd Deer, AB. Carnival cinemas has officially shut their doors after 30+ years in operation. It was always so nice to go to the “cheap theater” and watch older movies. Last weekend I got to go watch the 1989 Batman movie for $1.50
They do plan on opening a new location downtown , but the vibe will just never be the same!

Happy holidays from an abandoned barn out by Bashaw, AB. Took this a few years back and it always seems to have a nice Christmas vibe to it. There was a house on the property, but it had pretty much fallen apart.
