Come celebrate an afternoon of community at the Musée Dawson Trail Museum. October 3, 11-3pm

Entertainment by Gilles Crevier and Brian Clyne healing hoop dancing. Fur display & teachings by Lisa Hettrick along with Bannock demonstration by Darlene Larocque.

Lunch: Chili and homemade beans with bannock will be served along with a beverage and dessert.

Unfortunately we have to cancel the interpretive plant walk, but we are still having the Salve Workshop.

This is an 1 1/2 hour workshop. Lisa aka Maw Maw Loo will teach you how to use local plants to make your own salve for stings, cuts and burns. Everything is included in $30 fee.

Want to learn about healing and edible plants in the southeast? Join the Interpretive Plant Walk with Lisa Hettrick aka. Maw Maw Loo. From learning our plants, we continued August 29 with a Salve workshop. Using the natural plants, creating a healing salve.
