Fire and Ash Studio - Jack Ploesser Most of my work is functional stoneware. All the work is fired in a gas kiln to a hot cone 9. I like to layer glazes.

This produces more varied colours and gives the glazes lots of depth. I use ash glazes and copper red as well as many other glazes.
