Where does the spoon go when you’re finished? Is there a proper way to stir your tea? And what exactly are the rules when you sit down for High Tea?
We’re bringing in someone who knows.
Tea Etiquette Teacher Pamela Cormier will join us for Autumn High Tea: Tea, Tales & Traditions and take us through the charming customs and sometimes surprising rules of proper tea etiquette.
Pamela’s love of tea began with the English side of her family. She went on to run Vintage Tea Parties throughout the Okanagan for eight years and became a Certified Tea Etiquette Teacher through the English Manor school in London, England.
We have a feeling some of us may have a thing or two to learn.
Don’t worry. There won’t be a test.
Come for the tea. Stay for the tales. Mind your manners.
