Inspired Brush Strokes

Inspired Brush Strokes This is the official page for Award-Winning Artist: Lynn DeRoeck I was born and raised in Sarnia, Ont., Canada. Wolff Award” Top Award.

I have sketched for a number of years and decided to venture into the medium of watercolour, which became the delight of my creativity. I have a son, Robert, who resides in Saskatchewan, Canada, and a daughter, who also lives in Sarnia. My daughter is my photographer and she also is the paginator for “The Sarnia Journal.”

I have been painting since 2009, and in March 2014, I entered one of my pai

ntings, “The Power of the Potter’s Hand” in Sarnia Arts Workshop, and became a first-time award-winning artist, winning the
“H. & W. I have shown my paintings at various shows, as “Art in the Grove” in Bright’s Grove, Ont., and “Art on the Lake” in Sarnia, Ont. Then in October 2014 at the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia, Ont., I entered two of my paintings in a juried show and received recognition for “The Power of the Potter’s Hand” and “Beauty of the Ages.”
This was quite an honour and humbling experience to be amongst such great artists and it challenges
and stretches me to grow as an artist and a person. So, in the first few months of 2015, I felt it was called to launch my prints and cards of my paintings to reach people to bring hope, peace and comfort by them. So, on April 7, 2015, “Inspired Brush Strokes” was born and now I paint for the “Master Artist.”

Also, I thank God for the gifts and talents He has given me, and for all my friends and family for their love, support and encouragement.
