📌 Let's talk about the C-FAYE Lady Faye!

The Dragon Rapide was designed as a five to six passenger short-range airliner. It is a descendant of both the D.H. Fox Moth and the DH84 Dragon.

The DH89 Dragon Rapide, with more power and greater overall performance, evolved from the DH84 Dragon.

The Lady Faye on display was built in 1944, one of the last Dragon Rapides to be constructed. It operated in Normandy and the Channel Islands, and appears to have been used as a parachute aircraft.

📌 Did you know?

The railway motor cars that were used to transport railway maintenance crews were also used by forest fire fighting crews to move men and equipment to fires that were accessible to railway lines and to conduct regular patrols along those lines.

Here at the CBHC, we have an exhibit dedicated to the history and importance of rail cars, featuring some, such as the Sheffield 44B Motor Car, the Casey Jones Motor and the Velocipede.

Come and check it out at the Bushplane Museum! ✈
