Tems Swiya Museum The tems swiya Museum is re-opening on Wednesday April 2, 2026. We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. We will be closed the Easter long weekend.

We look forward to seeing you. The tems swiya Museum in Sechelt, British Columbia is home to an extensive, and growing, collection of artifacts and cultural materials belonging to the shíshálh Nation. In sháshishálem, ‘tems swiya’ means ‘our world’ and today the tems swiya Museum is central in the presentation, preservation, conservation, and protection of shíshálh cultural heritage.

The tems swiya museum is closed for the Easter Long Weekend in observance of Good Friday on April 3 and Easter Monday on April 6.

7imash 7imash (Welcome), the tems swiya Museum is now re-open beginning April 1. Our museum will continue to be open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. We appreciate all the support and patience during our recent closure to fix our museum. We look forward to your visit and hope that you come and enjoy and learn about the shishalh culture and history.
