From our quaint sit in gallery café where local coffee, tea, and treats will be served to the rentable studios and commercial kitchen, every corner of The Painted Bean is being designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and community.

We're thrilled to introduce Roy Hansen-Robitschek, one of NL's talented artists who will have their incredible work showcased at The Painted Bean!

One of Roy's specialties include creating colorful acrylic abstract paintings. Within the complex layering of texture and colour, these juxtapositions create a sensation of movement and depth.

✨️ F.A.Q TIME! ✨️

Q: Just recently, I was asked "Is this space was going to be accessible still?" as some of our renovation pictures show the removal of the old ramp.

A: YES! It will absolutely be! Accessibility in all forms - both physical and non-physical - is a cornerstone of the vision for TPB. As a neurodivergent, I am deeply aware of the challenges faced by individuals across various spectrums. Those dear to me, including my brother who is a paraplegic and has lived most of his life moving in a wheelchair, I am committed to creating a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for everyone.

Q2: Why was it removed?

A2: Unfortunately, the old ramp (inside and outside) no longer meets code, so we are working on transforming the interior to have an additional dory boat seating area and deck-style entrance way with a new ramp to code.
