There will be a candlelight vigil held tonight, Thursday, February 12th at 6 pm in Veteran's Square, downtown Summerland in support of Tumbler Ridge and the tragedy that occurred there.

Awesome Arts, our program for adults with diverse abilities is back for winter and spring 2025!

This is a great way to create beautiful art and a wonderful way to meet people and make friends!

All classes are taught by qualified artist instructors and we have many support volunteers.

All supplies are included in the $5.00 fee.

We carry handmade ornaments, books by local authors, paintings, jewelry, art cards, gorgeous pottery, glass art, hand-made soaps jams and jellies, and so much more.

The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm until December 24th.

Chef Andy's Meat Pies will be at the Ryga Arts Centre from 5 - 9 pm Friday, November 28th. They'll be serving a delicious combo of meat pies, mashed potatoes and gravy for $15. Pick up a couple for dinner!

You can have dinner, dessert & coffee at the Ryga Arts Centre!
Chef Andy's and Granny's. What a combination! We'll have some bistro tables set up so you can take a break from shopping, relax and sip on a hot chocolate or coffee and enjoy some delicious food.

The Summerland Legion will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary on June 6, 2026. To commemorate this momentous date, the Legion would like to install military-themed mural panels along the building's west wall.

To accomplish this, the Legion Mural Committee is seeking artists willing to help create these murals. Artists are requested to contact the Summerland Legion (250-494-2301) and leave a message for Committee Chair Dean Blystone or drop by the office and leave your contact information.
