Fused Glass by Brent Harding - Metal Glass Media Local artist, Brent Harding creates stained and fusion glass as well as oil paintings for viewing, purchase and commissions.

If you have never had the chance to see Brent Harding's work before, the first time you do, your mind may conjure up an image of a graffiti artist in a tuxedo with tails. There is a raw talent coupled with a depth that intrigues the eyes. Brent is able to catch the simple realties of our natural surroundings that bring us peace of mind and heart. He also has a rare gift that few are able to master

. Just as in nature, the closer we look, the more detailed and beautiful it becomes. It is easy to want to see more of the emotions and feelings expressed through his creative hands. Fusion Glass Art is created with recycled wine and beer bottles. The glass is sifted to create three different textures which becomes the medium for the landscapes. A mold is created for the foreground trees and once heated the mold is destroyed creating a one of a kind fusion glass art piece. Mica powders are mixed in with the glass to give the piece that extra glistening touch. This process is Brent Harding's own creation of Fusion Glass art.
