COASTAL COLOUR

Bringing the magical, natural world inside our homes and onto our bodies. I strive to create pieces that encompass the colours and textures of our natural world. In a time when we are surrounded by concrete, I strive to reach through the cracks to bring nature back.

Growing flowers, foraging for colour and sourcing local wool grounds me and connects me to a greater force and inspires me to create pieces to share that bit of magic with others.

Coastal colour is an exploration into sourcing colour from our beautiful Northern landscape. Pieces have been created with materials I have dyed from local mushrooms, plants, rusted objects and flowers.

BEYOND THE HORIZON

This collection is an exploration of our Northern coastlines, navigating the interconnectedness between our world and the worlds that exist in our forests and oceans; Telling the untold story of life living along these remote shores and witnessing life through the vast connection of ecosystems. Through the delicate play of bold colors and brushstrokes, this collection develops the journey of humanity entering the wonderous world around us. At the start of this journey, a road lay before you at the threshold of a world parallel to our own, offering passage to this incredible world. You are invited to come on this journey and follow as each painting tells a story of ancient wisdom – of strength and resilience and leads you on a journey of wonder, curiosity and contemplation.

Join us for Figure Drawing (19+) on select Mondays from 11 AM–1 PM, or Still Life Drawing on select Sundays from 1–3 PM.

We're very pleased to introduced featured artist Robert Davis! Robert will be holding a copper repoussé demonstration with Q and A at the Terrace Art Gallery ***tomorrow*** August 29 2026 from 1 to 4 pm. It will also be the last day to see this inspiring and community-building show in honour of the Salmon! Hope to see you there.
