A celebrated Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter, Dayv is known for his heartfelt original music as the driving force behind Le Paysagiste and as a member of the Northern Ontario group Les Bilinguish Boys. His blend of folk, country, and Franco-Ontarian roots makes for the perfect soundtrack to a summer afternoon.

🧸🌞 Our Teddy Bear Picnic is back! 🌞🧸
Join us on July 16th for our 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic! a fun-filled summer celebration for the whole family!

Bring your favourite teddy bear or stuffed animal, a picnic blanket or lawn chair, and settle in for a day of:

🩺 A Stuffed Animal Doctor Clinic

Has your furry friend seen better days? Our teddy bear doctor will be on site to perform check-ups and even stitch up a few rips and tears if needed!

🌎 Our first Wonder Wednesday adventure of the summer was a splash! ✈️🌊

We kicked off our journey around the world by travelling to the beautiful Bahamas! The kids learned about the culture, discovered fascinating facts about this island nation, and created their own ocean-inspired crafts.

🐠 Did you know the Bahamas is home to some of the world’s most incredible coral reefs? Coral reefs are often called the “rainforests of the sea” because they provide a home for thousands of marine species and help protect coastlines.

A huge thank you to all of our little explorers who joined us for our first stop! 🌎✨

But the adventure doesn't stop here...

✈️ Next week, Wonder Wednesdays is travelling to Bhutan! We’ll learn about this amazing country and create our very own dragon puppets inspired by Bhutan’s national symbol, the Druk (Thunder Dragon). 🐉

🐝 Seniors Social: Helping Our Local Pollinators 🌼

This month’s Seniors Social was all about pollinators and the important role they play in our environment! Participants created their own mini pollinator pools, each one uniquely decorated and ready to provide a safe space for local pollinators. 🐝🦋

We kicked off the morning with Christina Beaton from the City of Timmins Environmental Services Department, who shared an informative presentation about what it means to be a Bee City and how Timmins became the 34th certified Bee City in Canada - and the very first in Northeastern Ontario! 🌎🐝

Meet the Artist: Angelo Rossi

Join us for a special Meet & Greet and Book Signing with renowned Italian glassblower Angelo Rossi!
