What a privilege to have our Prince Edward County studio featured in the new HGTV show, The County hosted by designer Sarah Keenlyside.

We were delighted to have worked with artist Anna Church and designer Kate Lavender, consulting on the framing and presentation of Anna’s stunning work.
Every decision, from the frame selection to the clarity of the glass, was made to honour the integrity of the piece, allowing the work itself to remain fully in focus.

The finished piece now lives within Kelly and Jay’s featured renovation, a beautifully reimagined kitchen, where art and interior quietly settle into one another.

A thoughtful moment within the evolving design landscape of Prince Edward County.

We were recently invited by Mason Studio for a private tour of the Queen and Ashbridge/Bridge in the Beaches, a residential project where art, design, and architecture converge.
Throughout the building, our custom framing brings together a complete art program designed to live seamlessly within the architecture. Each piece is positioned with intention, creating a refined dialogue between material, form, and everyday experience.

The project features works by Tabatha Dodge, Pia Metni, and Ohotaq Mikkigak, bringing texture, narrative, and presence into the interiors. It was a privilege to collaborate with the Mason Studio team on this project where our custom framing, contemporary art, and interior design come together with clarity and restraint.

Akasha Art Projects is pleased to present Field Work, a new exhibition by Toronto artist Kristin Sjaarda, featured as part of Contact Photography Festival in May.

Known for her lush large scale still life compositions, Kristin works across photography, textiles, and ceramics, creating images that feel painterly, precise, and deeply atmospheric. Drawing from flora and fauna, her compositions blur the boundaries between art, ecology, and design, where flowers become sculpture and light becomes narrative.

Collected internationally and exhibited by leading institutions, Kristin's work offers a rare encounter with photography as both reverence and revelation.

An evening defined by impact, presence, and material intensity.

We were honoured to welcome Christian Bernard Singer into the gallery, where the response was incredible. The work held the room. Guests moved slowly, taking in the depth of process and the rawness of the materials.

Using elements such as moss and pine needles, Singer constructs environments that feel both grounded and ephemeral. Anchored by a singular painted log and a series of works on paper, the exhibition unfolds between sculpture and landscape, inviting a more deliberate way of seeing.
There is a quiet discipline in the work. A sensitivity to rhythm, movement, and material presence shaped by over twenty five years of practice.

Presented in honour of Earth Month, Trace and Tremor reflects on fragility, renewal, and our place within a living system.

On view through May 2 at Akasha Art Projects.

Hard to believe a week has passed since Artist Project 2026, it was truly unforgettable.

As the official framer, Akasha Art Projects was honoured to be part of such a dynamic and elevated moment within the art world. This year felt especially significant as we introduced our booth for the very first time, offering a complete expression of who we are, from refined framing to the thoughtful presentation of contemporary work. It was a rare opportunity to share our full vision and connect more intimately with both artists and collectors.

Within the booth, we showcased a range of framing styles, highlighting the nuance and craftsmanship behind each approach, while also presenting our digital publication, Art House, bringing our editorial voice into the space in a tangible and engaging way.

To witness such an incredible range of talent, and to engage with so many inspiring voices throughout the fair, made the experience all the more meaningful.

We were also proud to present the inaugural Akasha Art Projects Award, recognizing an artist whose work stood apart with clarity, strength, and intention. Congratulations to Janne Reuss on this well deserved honour.

To everyone who visited, connected, and shared in the experience, thank you for making it so memorable.

Trace and Tremor
by Christian Bernard Singer
April 2 to May 2, 2026

We are delighted to present, our current exhibition Trace and Tremor unveiling a quietly arresting body of work by Canadian eco artist Christian Bernard Singer,

Artworks composed of moss, pine needles, wood and natural stones, along with original paintings offer an immersive environment that dissolves the boundary between sculpture and landscape. Each work unfolds with a refined restraint, inviting a slower gaze and a heightened awareness of material, space, and presence.

With a practice spanning over twenty five years, Singer brings a rare sensitivity to rhythm and form. Informed by an early foundation in performance, his installations are not simply observed but experienced, drawing the viewer into a choreography of stillness and movement.

Presented in honour of Earth Month, Trace and Tremor offers a poetic meditation on fragility, renewal, and the quiet interconnectedness of the natural world.

On view through May 2

Preparing for presence. Curating for impact.

Behind the scenes, every detail is being considered as we bring the Akasha Art Projects vision to life at The Artist Project. This year marks our debut as the Official Framer, a milestone that reflects our commitment to elevating how art is experienced and presented.

From the selection of works to the precision of each frame, our booth has been thoughtfully composed to showcase the full breadth of our practice. A curated presentation of our framing approaches will sit alongside the introduction of Art House magazine, extending our vision into the editorial space.

We look forward to welcoming you into the space, where presentation becomes experience and every piece is given the stage it deserves.

We cannot wait to see you there and connect with fellow artists and creatives.
Come see us at Booth 123.

Spring has a way of quietly shifting perspective. Light lingers a little longer, textures soften, and the world reveals itself with renewed clarity. It is a season defined not by sudden change, but by thoughtful emergence.

Our newest issue of ArtHouse arrives as Toronto’s creative landscape awakens with fresh ideas and renewed dialogue. Within its pages, artists and designers move fluidly between nature and structure, craft and innovation, tradition and reinvention.

From sculptural environments shaped by organic materials to fashion that carries heritage into contemporary form, and design that reimagines sustainability through the language of luxury, each story reflects a shared sensitivity to material, environment, and the spaces we inhabit.

At ArtHouse, we continue to explore the dialogue between art, design, and fashion as living disciplines that shape how we see the world.

This spring issue invites you to slow down, look closer, and discover the stories unfolding within its pages.

Issue 5 is now live.

Happy International Women’s Day!

We are proud to be powered by an all female team. Thoughtful hands, sharp eyes, creative minds, and steady dedication shape everything we do. From custom framing and exhibition installation to curating artwork and preserving important pieces, every detail reflects the strength of collaboration, intuition, and experience.

As women working in the worlds of art, design, and craftsmanship, we are continually inspired by the creativity, leadership, and vision of women across our industry. Supporting artists, collectors, designers, and our community is something we approach with care and intention every day.

Today we celebrate the power of women in art, women in business, women entrepreneurs, and the many women whose work continues to shape the cultural landscape around us.·
