When you think Ducati, you probably picture roaring superbikes, but what about one that fits in the trunk?
Meet the 1969 Mini Marcellino, possibly the smallest Ducati-powered machine ever made. With a tiny 48cc engine, folding bars, and a weight of just around 57 lbs, this little legend came out of the late-’60s minibike craze, when riders wanted something compact enough to stash in a car and ride the last miles into town.
Even cooler? It wasn’t originally designed as a Ducati, but ended up wearing the badge thanks to Spanish-built engines tied to Ducati’s history.
Proof that “classic Ducati” doesn’t always mean big, loud, and fast, sometimes it’s tiny, rare, and ridiculously cool.
Would you add something like this to your collection, or is it just garage art?
