Your last chance to check out this delightful display on loan from the World Famous Gopher Hole Museum. Their version of the Trouble With Tribbles. Next week it is going home to Torrington to hang out with his gopher family. We are most grateful for this loan. Come check it out Saturday 11-5, Sunday and Monday 1-5.

This season our theme was Nine In A Line- We had at the great opportunity to tell the stories of many people who were involved in the grain industry - focusing mainly on elevator agents. You can still check out the display this weekend Saturday 11- and Sunday and Monday 1-5. Riley Webster created some great videos that help to tell a little bit about the life of elevator agents. Our 2026 season is just about over. We are closed this week but will be open Saturday the 5th 11-5, Sunday 6th and Monday the 7th from 1-5 pm. We are open for private tours throughout the winter- just give us a call. We want to thank you all for the great support you have given us this year. We have had over 1400 visitors - a record for sure! The archives will remain open all year - Wednesday afternoons from 1-4.

Just a reminder that tomorrow at 1 pm at the Vulcan Cemetery is our annual cemetery tour- Silent Shadows. This year we are honouring some of the people who helped to bring bread to our tables and helped to build our community. We will be sharing the stories of Henry Hansen, Grace Welsh, Bill Giles, George Richardson, Sue and Al Jackson, Cliff Rich, Lundy Findlay, Mel Jordan, Milt Lewis, and Cassie Graham.

Join us on Aug. 22 1 pm for our annual Silent Shadows Cemetery tour. This year we will focus on many of those people who helped to bring a loaf of bread from the field to the table. Along with family and friends, we will be sharing the stories of Henry Hansen, Grace Welsh, Cliff Rich, Bill Giles, Milt Lewis, Sue and Al Jackson, Cassie Graham, Mel Jordan, Lundy Findlay and George Richardson.

We did it !!! 1000 visitors so far this year. Congratulations to either Victoria, Austin or Marcus for being the 1000th visitor. They will have to duke it out for the prizes of mugs, a water bottle and a print of Roger Middleton's "Nine in a Line" painting donated by the Middleton family.
