On display and available for sale are over 100 one-of-a-kind original, and rare limited edition art by both world famous, and not so famous musicians, whose creativity is equally evident in their art as it is in their music.

Our Story

True North Gallery, also known as The Music Gallery, is located within and operated by the owners of the acclaimed independent Canadian record label, True North Records. Founded in 1969, it is still active as the label home to Bruce Cockburn, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Murray McLauchlan, and many other popular musicians. The gallery is located in the Victorian village of Waterdown, Ontario, on the Niagara escarpment, five minutes past the QEW exit off highway 403 (40 minutes from downtown Toronto). On display and available for sale are over 100 one-of-a-kind original works, as well as rare limited-edition prints by both world famous and locally famous musicians, whose creativity is equally evident in their art as it is in their music. The gallery hours are Monday - Saturday 9AM - 5PM. We are open to the public, and admission is free.
