Joignez-vous à nous la semaine prochaine pour le vernissage de l'exposition 𝘊𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, de Ryth Kesselring et Pavitra Wickramasinghe.

Ruche d’art avec les artistes : 30 mai de 10h30 à 13h

𝘊𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 réunit les œuvres de Ryth Kesselring et Pavitra Wickramasinghe qui, tous deux, explorent les écologies matérielles. Ce projet d’exposition examine le lien entre rythmes, répétitions et cycles sous forme d'œuvres installatives. Le travail des deux artistes se rejoint par un regard critique sur notre époque, passant des douces ondulations écologiques aux pulsations effrénées du monde numérique ou encore, de la résonance entre le rythme naturel d’un lieu et les politiques économiques qui accablent ce même territoire.

𝘊𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 brings together the works of Ryth Kesselring and Pavitra Wickramasinghe, both of whom explore material ecologies. This exhibition project examines the relationship between rhythms, repetitions, and cycles through installative works. The practices of both artists converge in a critical perspective on our time, ranging from gentle ecological undulations to the frantic pulsations of the digital world, and from the resonance between the natural rhythm of a place to the economic policies that burden that same territory.

Il ne reste plus qu'une semaine pour voir l'expo de Silas et Vanessa ! Surtout, ne manquez pas la ruche d'art avec Vanessa Yanow ce samedi, le 28 mars, de 10h30 à 13h.

Cette exposition conjointe réunit les pratiques artistiques de Silas Wamsley et Vanessa Yanow, dont les œuvres interrogent la corporalité comme une condition instable, relationnelle et politiquement située. À travers la peinture, la sculpture, le textile et l’assemblage, l’exposition examine la manière dont les corps (humains et plus-qu'humains) se constituent par des processus de transformation, de vulnérabilité et de soin, en résistance aux cadres ontologiques et symboliques fixes. Ensemble, Wamsley et Yanow formulent un refus commun des binarités fixes: sacré et profane, corps et esprit, autonomie et dépendance.

This joint exhibition brings together the creative practices of Silas Wamsley and Vanessa Yanow, whose works interrogate embodiment as an unstable, relational, and politically situated condition. Through painting, sculpture, textiles, and assemblage, the exhibition examines how bodies (human and more-than-human) are constituted through processes of transformation, vulnerability, and care, resisting fixed ontological and symbolic frameworks. Together, Wamsley and Yanow articulate a shared refusal of fixed binaries: sacred and profane, body and spirit, autonomy and dependence.

Ne manquez pas la ruche d'art le 14 février ! Les artistes Jaimie Robson et Maya Ersan, membres du duo Mere Phantoms, guideront les participant.e.s dans la création de leurs propres découpages en papier inspirés du jardin. À l'aide de diverses techniques de découpage et de pliage du papier, les participant.e.s créeront soit une marionnette à main, soit un découpage. De la conception à la réalisation en passant par l'esquisse, les participant.e.s découvriront les étapes suivies par les artistes pour créer leurs propres œuvres.

Don't miss the art hive February 14! Join us for this art hive by Mere Phantoms artists Jaimie Robson and Maya Ersan, where they will guide you through making your own garden-inspired paper cutouts. Using a variety of paper cutting and folding techniques participants will create either a handheldshadow puppet, or a free standing shadow cutout. From concept to sketch to realization, participants will be introduced to the stepsused by the artists in creating their own work.
