SOLD-Moss & Amber is the left side of a series of 3 in my solo show Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment - the right side “sparks fly” find on my “wall” remains in my show until 7pm Oct. 22. Open 10-4 Wednesday & 10-7pm Thursday.

This colour combo isn’t typically found in my work - the contrast between the three tied the piece together as a whole from light to dark. I saw it as from Earth to Fire in left to right presentation.

The third now stands on its own at the gallery as a powerhouse for the last two days—if you look back at the set of three, you might notice it has a face in the fiery reds? They are now presented together on my page.

I’ll be creating more 24”x36”x1.5” inks in the near future!

Sold! Let’s meet! Oct 20, 1-4pm Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment - “Summer Love” is gone to its new home along with “Moss & Amber”.

The third in the series (already posted), “Sparks Fly” is still available at the gallery until Thursday at 7pm! 24x36x1.5”. I’ll post Moss and Amber on Wednesday.

Emotions run high while I work in my studio. Rubbing and scrubbing, dripping, drizzling and scraping. That’s how these layered alcohol inks work. As one colour is swiped over the other, colours pick up and blend back together.

3 pieces in a series, sold separately — Summer love was an intense art-making session. I absolutely love this piece. A little sad to see her move on to experience her best life. Thank you so much for falling in love with my art.

So much of me goes into every piece. I have a signature style that is unique to me.

Although I’m on an art creating break, my solo exhibition continues to Thursday October 22!

Tuesday October 20, 10-4pm
Wednesday (alcohol inks only), 10-5pm
Thursday 10-7pm

Friday - I’ll be driving the alcohol inks home. The collection will be divided, they will find their way to exhibitions and then the fine art fair...hopefully the rest quickly find homes so I can start to create again…

It’s just not the same as seeing it in a very large gallery space - all at once!

It’s been great so far. I look forward to creating my next body of work. I’ll be back in the studio once it snows. I’m not ready yet-taking in the last breaths of the fall season, busy working on my administrative side.

🎶Tues, Oct 20, 1-4pm meet me Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment. Last day: Oct 22, 10-7pm.

I was incredibly happy, feeling ALIVE in June painting in my studio. I was dancing ‘90s to early 2000 music, singing along—absolutely free-flowing to the groove.

I suddenly stopped while listening to a collection of songs by Björk and said, “f-it, I’m so happy! it’s done. I love it.” Texted a good artist friend, “can I call it that?” 🤪

🖼️ Actual title “Joyful Fun & Free - Happiness.” 44x45x1.5” When I look at this piece, I can absolutely feel that energy I felt.

This piece is about being joyful and feeling happiness in my heart. Living with multiple severe chronic illnesses, at times, it’s hard to keep going. On my strongest and best days I feel “on fire”. This was one of those days. I cherish every moment when I truly feel alive. A lot of my paintings are about finding the calm and quieting the noise which is why I create in shades of blue with hints of orange. IYKYK.

I’m proud of this piece and I’m so happy that it’s going to a couple that I have known since around late 2010 or 2011. We met at a party of mutual friends at that time and they started to occasionally come to my exhibitions. This will be their first Jordan Miller original collected! Moral of the story is, if you don’t find a piece at the first exhibition, you’ll find it at the next!

Incredibly grateful! Tues Oct. 20, 1-4pm, I’ll be Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment 1 more time. Art went to their homes to live their best lives. Many beautiful pieces remain. Collect one or more?

The best part about a show is being able to share about the work.

If you are thinking about an alcohol ink piece you have until 7pm on Thursday, October 22nd.

If you are thinking about an acrylic piece-the remaining (what fits in my SUV) will be coming home with me on Tuesday at 4pm.

Anything you purchase this coming week you can take home with you—saves me a trip.

The story: 🍂 fall leaves swirl from sky to earth. A beautiful dance that flows as they twist and turn in the air, finding their new home, where they will serve another purpose - laid to rest.

I wrote this long ago, the light glistens through the trees. I wish we could hold on to this season a lot longer.

The changing season lasts what feels like a split second. Blink and you miss it.

The warm woollies: they cover our hands, necks and shoulders. Comforting. We turn the heat on. We light fires. Trees give us shelter, they give us fire, and the leaves protect the soil, grass, and critters that live in our earth’s ecosystem.

The trees will soon be bare. A cold blanket of winter will cover them until spring. In six months, we will see the green grass on nature’s floor again. The sun will keep rising and shining but shorter. We say goodbye to another great summer season. We are blessed to still be here.

Delta! I’ll be Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment Sat. Oct 17 & T, Oct 20, 1-4pm! Self - guided tours or walk and talk around the room with me.

Is it grass and water or is it grass and sky. Beach day? Remember when our cabin nearly washed away?

Naturally, I tend to paint abstract landscapes as this is where I find calmness in my day to day life. Are these ripples of sounds? …That’s a vibe…

I love swimming, being close to running water, nature walks, and creating with colour.

Blue (like sky & water) is my most favorite colour as it has a powerful energy when it comes to healing, spirituality, and clarity.

This is my largest abstract painting in “Exploration of Contentment.” I previously showed it as a reel as a work in progress on my Instagram - find an earlier version video on my page Jordan Miller Artist
