Congratulations to Catherine C Cole

Our sincere congratulations to Catherine C. Cole, who was recently elected to the Executive Board of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Announced at the ICOM General Conference in November, this election marks the first time in ICOM's history that the board is not primarily European.

Catherine was the 2021 recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award, in recognition of her dedication to supporting heritage institutions and museums, empowering her colleagues in the field, and promoting the work of Canadian museums to the international museum community.

We look forward to Catherine’s continued dedication and service to the provincial, national, and international museum sector.
