COOPERATION | Group Exhibition at LOKAL Galerie

Cooperation is not just a slogan, but a way of thinking about art and being together. The COOPERATION exhibition, presented in May at LOKAL Galerie, stems from the belief that art remains one of the most sensitive spaces for encounter—transcending languages, borders, and differences in experience. It is a story of relationships, tensions, and building understanding where dialogue begins.

The works of the invited artists form a polyphony about cooperation—not as a utopia, but as a living practice. About co-presence, which requires attention, imagination, and trust. About building bridges before divisions arise.

A special highlight of the exhibition will be the closing event on May 24 at 4:00 p.m., conceived as an open event that both concludes the exhibition and opens it up to conversation. The program features a lecture by Prof. Piotr Kołodziej, “The Power and Violence of Expression and Image”—a reflection on the language of the image, its power, tensions, and responsibility—as well as a workshop by Albe Kant, centered on emotions and watercolors, where the creative process becomes an experience of shared participation.
