La transformation de notre exposition permanente a commencé 📣
Dès aujourd’hui et jusqu’en mai 2028, le Musée entre dans une nouvelle phase de son histoire. Plutôt que de fermer ses portes pendant les travaux, nous avons choisi de rester ouverts afin de continuer à accueillir et réfléchir ensemble. Cette transformation est aussi l’occasion de partager avec vous les choix et les questionnements qui façonnent une exposition.
Pensée comme une exposition im/permanente, elle évoluera progressivement au fil du temps et des enjeux humanitaires. Au fur et à mesure du chantier, de nouvelles sections de l’exposition ouvriront progressivement.
La nouvelle exposition explorera trois grandes dimensions de l’action humanitaire à travers l’histoire et l’action du Mouvement international de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge :
Le Passé — Comment et pourquoi le Mouvement s’est-il construit et transformé depuis le XIXᵉ siècle ?
Le Présent — En quoi consiste aujourd’hui le travail du Mouvement, entre métiers, dilemmes et réalités du terrain ?
Le Futur — À quels défis l’action humanitaire devra-t-elle répondre ?

The transformation of our permanent exhibition starts now 📣
From today until May 2028, the Museum is entering a new chapter in its history. Rather than closing our doors during the works, we have chosen to remain open, continuing to welcome visitors and provide a space for dialogue and reflection. This transformation is also an opportunity to share with you the decisions and questions that shape an exhibition.
Conceived as an im/permanent exhibition, it will evolve over time in response to humanitarian issues and changing perspectives. Throughout the transformation, new sections of the exhibition will gradually open to the public.
The new exhibition will explore humanitarian action by focusing on three periods in the history of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement:
The Past — Why and how was the Movement formed, and how has it changed since the 19th century?
The Present — What does the Movement’s work look like today? What do the people of the Movement do, what challenges do they encounter and what realities do they face on the ground?
The Future — What challenges lie ahead for humanitarian action?
