Unpopular opinions, February in Berlin is cosy and I almost like it. Wouldn't hate it if the sun decides to grace us with their vitamin replenishing presence though. Has been a tough month but all in all I'm happy. Surrounded by wonderful people, family & friends. I wish you the same. That or a Chinook salmon. Swipe if you don't get it. 🐟🐟🐟

wintering✨ 🖋 & swipe to the end to see the energy im bringing into 2023 ~ an entry from Tuesday 27th of December 2022 📄 : finally some sunny apparitions through the grey mass of clouds on Sonnenallee. I slept better than I have in the last few nights. gearing up for a few crazy days ahead. a new chapter in my humble life begins. another door career wise is closing with the end of my final contract in Geneva. I'm not sad though. I'm relieved even though I need to find a way to pay rent soon. 🤭 I'm confident though somehow. and I feel so grateful for all the support and well wishes I've received from all in the last few months... and years too. freelancing was a lonely path but I've never felt alone. I've come to the end of such a full (and tiring) journey that I'm not sad about wanting to pivot, as this will support my current needs and support me in my current evolution. to be honest I'm relieved that I found something deeper and more valuable to to build the foundations of my adult identity on because my entrepreneurial path - although exciting - was chaotic, and not sustainable. the last 2 years I feel like maybe I was just going through the motions and not being 100-percent present in my work. I feel like I was starting to repeat myself and almost began to resent certain predictable interactions I'd seen and heard 100 times before. and if I can avoid it, I'd rather not stay in that kind of mental space for too long. I'm seeking stability & structure now. but as soon as I let go of that last contract, I got a new influx of ideas for businesses I want to start! again! -- I was interrupted in my writing by a simple question from my roommate for the week paulina, who put it all into perspective again for me. I know why I wanted to move to Berlin. I also know why I've stayed in Berlin. and I know why I want to keep living here long term. a simple question reminded me of my Focus & why freelancing isn't the end of hold all to feel fulfilled right now. 📄 / end of the page
