Véronique Rischard presents in Zurich an immersive installation of monumental tree paintings in Chinese ink on white backgrounds. For more than fifteen years, her work has explored the expressive power of line and the tensions between emptiness and density. In this exhibition, she deliberately breaks apart her multi-panel compositions: canvases are shifted, separated, and layered. The installation evokes the atmosphere of a working studio, revealing the creative process rather than a finished image. Visitors move among the fragments, mentally reconstructing the trees while discovering continuities, ruptures, and silent spaces. The tree becomes an open, evolving, living form.
