“Roots as a metaphor for invisible but nevertheless powerful forces.”

✨Opening Tonight! Friday, 30 Jan | 6–9 PM ✨

At the center of our new exhibition, ROOTS, lies a monumental mask sculpture that spans two floors, physically and metaphorically penetrating the gallery space.

It symbolizes the unstoppable spread of roots—independent of time and space. uses this installation to embody the interweaving of African and Western traditions, visualizing the tensions, harmonies, and fluidity of existence.

Accompanied by the immersive soundscapes of Curtis Talwst Santiago , this exhibition is a multi-sensory journey into origin and creation.

The exhibition runs from 31 January – 28 February 2026.

‘The exhibition is not intended to moralize, but rather takes a laconic look at current controversial topics. The correspondence between the sculptural works by AES+F and the large-format tapestries by Margret Eicher promises an exciting arc of tension between the two pictorial spheres in the face of apocalyptic world perspectives.‘ David Elliott, Oxford (GB)

Presenting Iabadiou Piko and some of his paintings we are showing at our current exhibition: EUREKA THRESHOLD!

“By creating an expression of lines, streaks, imagination as a metaphor to convey something, I expect these works to build the perception of reality and self visual traces that constantly change. Which can be meaningful to me personally and others.”

Iabadiou Piko is an artist from Prabumulih, South Sumatera, Indonesia, who studied Art Photography at the Academy of Design Vision in Yogyakarta. His works portray memories from daily life in an abstract, figurative and poetic atmosphere. By leveraging on painting and photography, he captures thoughts and emotions, while using imagination to complement personal experiences. The result – a visual diary.
