This exhibition explores fatherhood, delving into the daily rituals of care, into what it feels to welcome a new life, into its irreversibility and the decisive act of being present. Fatherhood is told from a first-person perspective, in present tense, and beyond traditional notions of masculinity, clichés of distant or stoic fathers and idealized families. The projects included here reveal tenderness, intimacy and vulnerability. They invite the audience to reflect on how care is learned, negotiated and expressed, and how modern fathers navigate insecurities, responsibility and connection. Starting from the self but striking universality in the process, they shift the focus from heroic narratives to the meaningful everyday, revealing the subtle traces of love, effort and change that shape family life and parenting.
