Liebe Freunde der frischen Kunst,

am 2. Mai von 18–22 Uhr eröffnen wir die Ausstellung „Im Licht der letzten Hoffnung“. Wir laden herzlichst zur Vernissage ein.

Drei Generationen begegnen sich u.a. in Stein, Graphit, Tusche und Gouache – verbunden durch die Frage, wie Erinnerung weiterwirkt und was sie in uns hinterlässt.

Unter dem Leitgedanken „Erinnerung trägt den Frieden“ laden Marguerite Blume-Cárdenas, Christopher Balzer und Wiebke Conrad dazu ein, Haltung nicht nur zu betrachten, sondern zu erleben.

“In the Light of the Last Hope.”

Three generations come together through stone, graphite, ink, and gouache—connected by the question of how memory continues to resonate and what it leaves behind within us.

Am Freitag, den 25. April, eröffnen die Studierenden der Copenhagen Film and Photography School eine Pop-up-Ausstellung in der Galerie Kuchling und präsentieren dort aktuelle Arbeiten.
Unter dem Titel From Copenhagen with Love sind die Fotografien inmitten herausfordernder und oft verwirrender Zeiten entstanden. Die Studierenden setzen sich mit dem gegenwärtigen Moment auseinander – manche richten ihren Blick nach außen, andere wenden sich nach innen.
Die Ausstellung vereint vielfältige Themen und fotografische Ansätze und bewegt sich zwischen künstlerischer und dokumentarischer Fotografie. Neben fotografischen Arbeiten sind auch mehrere handgefertigte Fotobücher zu sehen.

On Friday, April 25th, students from the Copenhagen Film and Photography School will open a pop-up exhibition at Galerie Kuchling, showcasing recent works until April 27th.
Titled From Copenhagen with Love, the photographs were created amidst challenging and often disorienting times. The students respond to the present moment – some turning their gaze outward, others inward.
The exhibition brings together a wide range of themes and photographic approaches, moving between artistic and documentary photography. In addition to photographic works, several handmade photo books will also be on display.

Today and tomorrow are the last 2 exhibition days of the group show »From the Backyard to Beyond and Back« at Galerie Kuchling in Berlin-Friedrichshain! Open Wed – Fri 2 – 7 pm, Sat 1 – 6 pm, and by appointment, admission is free! The takes place on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6 – 10 pm.

Curated by Tatyana Palyga and Alexander Bondar from Zoopark Publishing and co-curated by Josephine Müller .brust from Galerie Kuchling, the group show is dedicated to exploring individual landscapes and both inner and outer journeys. In collaboration with the American Arts Center in Casablanca, Morocco.

Aaaaand we’re continuing with amazing exhibitions for 2025!

The Galerie Kuchling, in cooperation with the American Arts Center in Casablanca, Morocco, presents the exhibition From the Backyard to Beyond and Back. This impressive show is dedicated to individual landscapes and inner and outer journeys and is curated by Tatyana Palyga and Alexander Bondar from Zoopark Publishing. Four photographers – the Moroccan artists Mourad Fedouache, Charaf Lahib, and Youness Sefyaoui, as well as the American photographer Richard Lavern Martin – address the themes of home, movement, and belonging. While the Moroccan artists explore the intimacy of daily life and the poetry of the ordinary with their cameras, the American photographer Ricky tells a story of existence caught between departure and return – a search for connections in the in-between spaces."

We warmly invite you to the vernissage of the photo exhibition:
