Lite-haus Galerie + Projektraum

Lite-haus Galerie + Projektraum LiTE-HAUS Galerie based in Berlin, Germany represents international emerging and established artists

The mission of LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum is to encourage cross cultural communication by connecting people through art. The goal of the exhibitions, events, projects, and workshops we present is to address various environmental issues. The definition of "environmental" goes beyond ecological concerns and involves the diverse cultural environment of modern cities. Berlin is a mosaic of ethnic

ities, religions, and economic classes. Like many large metropolitan cities its diversity is both energizing, yet sometimes polarizing. LiTE-HAUS will attempt to address provocative issues using art and culture as a tool for building bridges. Through eclectic collaborations and pushing the boundaries of art’s definition we hope to bring people together and encourage conversation; something we feel is much needed in modern Germany. By forming a network with global partners we present the work of international artists and offer our community an opportunity to expand their knowledge of art. Further, the exploration of culture is encouraged through these collaborations between artists and residents. We want LiTE-HAUS to be a beacon for the diverse Neukölln community we call home.

💫 Next year marks 10 years of LiTE-HAUS in Neukölln!

When I opened our non-profit art space in 2016, I wanted to create a place where artists of all backgrounds could show their work with respect, professionalism, and heart. A place that treats creativity as a vital part of life — not a luxury.

Over these years, LiTE-HAUS has hosted hundreds of exhibitions, welcomed thousands of visitors, and helped artists share their stories through photography, painting, performance, installation, and video. We’ve become a small but mighty hub of connection and inspiration — right here in Berlin.

Like many independent art spaces, we’ve been affected by recent funding cuts. Most grants only cover project costs — not rent, utilities, or insurance — so much of what keeps this space alive has come from our own pockets.

My husband and I volunteer our time to curate shows, design promotions, and maintain the space, because we believe in what LiTE-HAUS stands for.

But to keep going, we need your help.

🌿 We’re asking 50 friends to each donate €500 — enough to cover our base rent for the year and ensure LiTE-HAUS continues as a home for artists and art lovers. Of course, any amount makes a difference. Every euro goes directly toward keeping this space open and thriving.

If you’ve ever visited LiTE-HAUS, exhibited with us, or simply believe in supporting creativity and culture in Berlin, please consider donating or sharing this message. Together we can make sure this little art space in Neukölln keeps giving artists a platform — for another 10 years and beyond.
