All My Colours is an ongoing series consisting of over 200 glazed stoneware pieces. It functions as a kind of alphabet, lexicon, or system of notation. The vibrant and suggestive force of the generated colours imbues these forms with a malleable character that oscillates between abstract objects, miniature paintings, and experimental findings.

GENARO STROBEL
Snow Angel (44)
2026
oil on wood (poplar)
90 x 60 cm

Genaro Strobel’s latest body of work features fifteen framed oil-on-wood panels that merge personal history with universal artistic inquiry. Taking the unconditioned drawing as a starting point, the series investigates the primordial language of early childhood. Inspired by his own early drawings, preserved in a diary kept by his mother, Strobel developed digital drawings that capture the dense, urgent expansion of these early marks. Titled ‘Snow Angel’, each individual painting corresponds directly to its original digital draft. Refusing to romanticize his own early marks, he elevates them to a site of inquiry, evolving a precise visual articulation.

PIETER HUGO
Portrait # 35, Rwanda
from the series “1994”
2015
c-print
120 x 160 cm

In 1994, Pieter Hugo looks at a generation growing up after historical rupture. Photographed in South Africa and Rwanda, these children appear free from the weight of the past, yet shaped by inherited narratives of identity and liberation. Set in landscapes that oscillate between idyll and unease, the portraits reveal a quiet tension between innocence, memory, and becoming.
