Open Now: Eilike Schlenkhoff, Lara Kaiser, Paula Knaps Loos – SPACES AND TRACES
On display until: 12 June 2026

Eilike Schlenkhoff moves freely between colour field painting, minimalist approaches, and illusionistic space. Her brushstrokes and patches of colour assert themselves with visible confidence, driven by a persistent openness to experiment.

Lara Kaiser’s paintings turn the familiar – curtains, corridors, the studio – into a sustained inquiry into how images come into being. Between figuration and abstraction, her work reflects on the conditions of painting itself.

Paula Knaps Loos brings together family photographs, ornamental forms, and text fragments in layered collages. Printed on brass, aluminium, concrete, and paper, her works draw a continuous thread between personal history and the present.

A beautiful opening for WHAT PARADISE!? at WAI Woods Art Institute.

Dimitris Tzamouranis’ paintings move between intimacy, memory, and quiet uncertainty — reflecting on the fragile idea of paradise in today’s world. A thoughtful and deeply atmospheric exhibition in dialogue with the Reinking Collection.

Markus Huemer — A Football Pitch Must Be Free from Trees
Opening: May 13, 2026, 7 PM

The exhibition reflects on perception, authenticity, and the blurred boundaries between reality and fiction in the digital and AI age. Through painting, Huemer explores the gradual loss of a profoundly human view of the world.

Tomorrow night.
Two openings. One evening.

Maximilian Siegenbruk – BLACK SWAN
A monumental pastel painting, mythological hybrids, and the artist’s first sculpture: Siegenbruk translates the economics of the unforeseeable into dense, baroque imagery.

Stefanie Haller – UNDER DECONSTRUCTION
Working with 3D animation, 3D printing, and ceramics, Haller dismantles canonical works of Western sculpture and reframes them through a feminist lens.

The opening will be introduced by Adrian Giacomelli, who will also moderate an artist talk with both artists.

Opening: Friday, 27 March 2026 · 7 pm
On view: 28 March – 30 April 2026

Séverine Henriette Meier – BITTERSWEET

Séverine Henriette Meier’s practice examines the construction of femininity within a Western-centered society. At its core is the female body as a historical projection surface for patriarchal ideals and social expectations.

From a feminist perspective, Meier questions how the female body has been depicted and controlled in art history and the present, and points toward transformation: a redefinition of femininity and a shift in social and artistic power structures.

Dajana Krüger – BLUEPRINTS OF IDENTITY

With BLUEPRINTS OF IDENTITY, Dajana Krüger explores identity in the age of virtuality, data culture and post-material realities.

Starting from real individuals and their gestures, stories and physical presence, Krüger creates digital sculptures through photography, video and 3D scanning. These virtual bodies are transformed, reconfigured and translated into immersive environments, where identity appears not as fixed form, but as a constantly shifting process.

Between classical sculpture and algorithmic systems, BLUEPRINTS OF IDENTITY rethinks what it means to construct a body — and a self — today.

The opening introduction will be given by Adrian Giacomelli.

DOUBLE EXHIBITION
Margret Eicher & Lucia Mattes

Two artistic positions, two very different approaches to image culture – united by a shared question: how do images shape our perception and our reality?

In THE AGE OF STYX, Margret Eicher transforms digital image montages into monumental Jacquard tapestries, weaving contemporary media imagery into a historic textile tradition.

In AFTER THE IMAGE, Lucia Mattes translates digital visual structures into tactile, hand-crafted surfaces that explore how images linger and affect us beyond the screen.

We are open today, Friday the 13th, from 3–7 pm.
The exhibition runs until February 20.

We look forward to seeing you.
