Madonna Nikopeja 🕯

A one-of-a-kind piece, crafted using traditional techniques, hand-painted with glazes and finished with delicate gold accents 🌟

Inspired by the 11th-century Byzantine icon of Maria Nicopeia , now preserved in the magnificent Basilica of San Marco, Venice, this artwork depicts Mary holding the Christ Child 👩‍🍼, both gently gazing toward the viewer , inviting contemplation and peace.

Since arriving in Venice in 1204, the original icon has been deeply loved and venerated as "She Who Brings Victory" 🛡️

Thanks to its double firing at around 1000°C, this sculpture is weatherproof and ideal for indoor or outdoor display, resisting sun ☀️, rain 🌧️, cold ❄️, and ice 🧊.

Martijn Urn 🌿

The Martijn Urn, with its graceful laurel clusters and sophisticated dark gold background, evokes ancient Roman vases.
The laurel, also an evergreen plant, known in Latin as laurus nobilis, is sacred to Apollo, the god of music and poetry. Laurel wreaths crown the heads of artists and victors, in both sports and life. For this reason, the Martijn Urn is dedicated to those, deserving of the highest esteem, who will always live on in our hearts.

Inspired by Venetian Art 🏛

This wonderfully handcrafted ceramic bas-relief is modeled and painted using traditional Italian techniques, and celebrates the beauty of celestial symbolism.

Ithaca’s Zodiac Signs are a free interpretation of the iconic bronze ones that decorate the clock face of the Torre dell’Orologio in Piazza San Marco, Venice 🏛️
Unveiled in 1499 and likely designed by Mauro Codussi, the tower is a masterpiece of Venetian architecture and urban planning, where time, stars, and history meet 🇮🇹.

Cupid with a Tambourine 🥁

This beautiful handmade terracotta sculpture is inspired by a delicate Roman fresco of a dancing Cupid, originally painted between 54–68 A.D. and discovered in the Villa di San Marco, Stabiae.
Today, the original masterpiece is preserved at the Antiquarium of Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples 🇮🇹✨

Known as Cupid to the Romans and Eros to the Greeks, this winged child is the graceful personification of love, desire, and passion..
As Plato’s Symposium tells us through Agathon:
"Eros, if it is respectful and right to say so, is happiest among them (among all gods), because he's most beautiful and best.(...) He is youngest among gods". 👼

Modeled with great care using ancient techniques and fired terracotta, this piece brings the spirit of myth and joy into any space.

Head of Medusa 🐍

A refined, handmade terracotta sculpture, shaped and painted using authentic ancient techniques.
This piece captures the fierce beauty of Medusa, the most famous of the three Gorgons.
Once a graceful maiden, sister to Stheno and Euryale, and daughter of immortals — Medusa was cursed by Athena after lying with Poseidon in the goddess’s sacred temple. Transformed into a monster with fiery eyes and snakes between her hair, her gaze could petrify anyone who looked upon her. To defeat Medusa, Perseus used a polished shield to reflect her image, cutting off her head with a sword without meeting her gaze.

Even in death, Medusa's power endured: her severed head could still turn enemies to stone. With it, Perseus destroyed a sea monster and rescued the princess Andromeda, whom he would later marry.

🔥 Fired at around 1000°C, this sculpture is weather-resistant — safe for indoor or outdoor display, unfazed by sun, cold, or ice.

Demareteion

This beautifully handycrafted bas-relief is inspired by the famous Sicilian coin "Demareteion", issued by Demarete, wife of tyrant Gelon, after the battle of Hymera (480 b.C.) The sculpture is painted with engobes and fired at about 970°C, therefore its time-lasting quality is assured despite sun, rain, wind, cold, ice.

Fortuna, Fragment, in Red

This sculpture portrays Fortuna, the Roman goddess of chance — not destiny itself, but the unexpected turns life can take.
Recognizable by the insignia on her shoulder, Fortuna holds the cornucopia, the horn of plenty, from which she offers gifts and abundance 🍇✨
But look closer — hidden in the spiral of the horn is a ball, a symbol of unpredictability. She throws it freely… and no one can know where it will land.
In any moment, Fortuna can open her wings and vanish, leaving behind luck or loss. She is the goddess of opportunity and of sudden change.
