Ae**us

This handmade ceramic sculpture represents Ae**us, the ancient god of the Winds, once a mortal king of the Aeolian Islands, off the coast of Sicily 🇮🇹

The winds were so wild and unpredictable that Zeus himself locked them inside Lipari, fearing their chaos.
Only Ae**us was trusted to control them, releasing one wind at a time when needed. He did his job so well that the gods spared him from death and welcomed him to Mount Olympus ⚡🏔️

From his mysterious Cave of the Winds, Ae**us still answers the call of the gods, holding the power to calm the skies or unleash the storm.

Maenad

Fabulous handmade sculpture in glazed ceramic, modeled and painted with great attention to detail. This bas-relief is inspired by the figural decoration of the Anfora di Baratti, a silver vase crafted in Siria during the 4th century A.D.
It depicts a Maenad, one of the followers of Dionysus, Bacchus. 🍇 God of wine, theater, music, and dance, Dionysus could bring his worshippers to a state of ecstasy and possession, and his festivals, the Dionysia or Bacchanalia were among the most important of ancient Greece and Rome.
🔥 Given its double firing at about 1000° C, this sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold, rain, or ice.

Marsyas, the Sylenus 🍇

This handcrafted terracotta bas-relief, painted with natural engobes and shaped using ancient Roman and Greek techniques, captures a moment of myth, ritual, and divine madness.

Here we see Marsyas, a Silenus, pressing grapes after the harvest: The scene is inspired by an original mould once used to shape terracotta vases, now preserved in the Museo Archeologico di Arezzo (1st–2nd century B.C.) 🇮🇹.

The Sileni, half-human beings with horse ears and tails, were wild companions of Dionysus, often lost in wine, music and dance. Through these means, they gained divine gifts: prophecy and ecstasy.

Marsyas, master of the double oboe once discarded by Athena, dared to challenge Apollo in a contest of music. He lost, but not before moving gods and mortals alike to a frenzy of wild dance.

🔥 Fired at around 1000°C, this sculpture is made to last — perfect for indoor or outdoor display, resistant to sun, cold, and ice.

Fortuna, the Winged Goddess of Chance

This sculpture portrays Fortuna, the Roman goddess of chance — not destiny itself, but the unexpected turns life can take.
Recognizable by the insignia on her shoulder, Fortuna holds the cornucopia, the horn of plenty, from which she offers gifts and abundance 🍇✨
But look closer — hidden in the spiral of the horn is a ball, a symbol of unpredictability. She throws it freely… and no one can know where it will land.
In any moment, Fortuna can open her wings and vanish, leaving behind luck or loss. She is the goddess of opportunity and of sudden change.
