Beim letzten Mal habt ihr Max an dieser Stelle noch mit Helm und Sicherheitsschuhen gesehen. Heute steht er schon ohne vor unserem späteren Haupteingang.
Über ihm ragt die Medienfassade empor: 170 Quadratmeter groß, tonnenschwer, komplex in einer Schräge montiert. In jedem Zentimeter stecken unzählige Stunden Planung, Herzblut und echtes Handwerk. Sie ist die größte ihrer Art in Deutschland.
Warum das Ganze? Weil wir digitale Kunst in den öffentlichen Raum bringen wollen. Wir wollen später auch Menschen erreichen, die vielleicht noch nie mit digitaler Kunst in Berührung gekommen sind. Wir möchten einen Ort schaffen, der staunen lässt.
Und weil dieser Ort im Herzen eines Quartiers liegt, gestalten wir das Miteinander ganz bewusst:
Die Fassade leuchtet nur so hell wie nötig und passt sich der Helligkeit der Tageszeiten an. Die Bildwelten bewegen sich ruhig und entschleunigt.

Last time, you saw Max in this spot wearing a helmet and safety shoes. Today, he’s already standing without them in front of our future main entrance.
Above him towers the media facade: 170 square meters, weighing several tons, and intricately mounted at an angle. Every centimeter reflects countless hours of planning, dedication, and real craftsmanship. It is the largest of its kind in Germany.
Why all this? Because we want to bring digital art into public space. Eventually, we also want to reach people who may never have encountered digital art before. We want to create a place that inspires wonder.
And because this place sits in the heart of a neighborhood, we’re deliberately shaping how we coexist with it: the facade shines only as brightly as necessary and adapts to the brightness of the time of day. The visuals move calmly and at a slow, unhurried pace.
