Last Friday’s exhibition was a celebration of creativity, emotion, and artistic dialogue - a truly inspiring evening featuring the works of Elena Lincke and Afsaneh Nagy. Both artists, though distinct in their mediums and styles, share a powerful ability to translate emotion into visual form and connect deeply with their audiences.
Elena Lincke -
Elena’s large-scale abstract paintings filled the space with color and movement. Her intuitive approach transforms emotion into form — each brushstroke alive with rhythm and energy. Standing before her canvases felt like being surrounded by music translated into color, where every layer told a story of emotion, flow, and presence.
Afsaneh Nagy - .art
Afsaneh, a German-Persian contemporary artist based in Hamburg, captivated viewers through her refined photographic artistry. Once an international model and fashion designer, she now channels her creative eye behind the camera, crafting images that reveal the unseen. Her work, defined by elegance and emotional depth, reflects the pulse of urban life while preserving its quiet grace. Her collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages adds a beautiful social dimension — art that not only moves but also gives back.
Together, Elena Lincke and Afsaneh Nagy created an evening that celebrated the power of art to connect, inspire, and transform.
An inspiring night at Walters — where color met light, and emotion became art.
