Thanks to every one who visited the opening last week! It was very special with A VERY HARRY PERFORMANCE by Nicklas Hoffmann 🧜‍♀️

STROMZÄHLER 13 – ANOTHER SPHERE

In this exhibition, the artists address current issues such as energy and resource scarcity, among other things, and lend further layers of meaning to the term Stromzähler. The examination of the group’s name thus becomes a starting point for reflections on sustainability and the role of art in a time of ecological and social challenges. 🌳🔋🪫

STROMZÄHLER 13 – ANOTHER SPHERE 🔌⚡️

The unique feature of the Stromzähler concept is that it brings together artistic positions that would not normally be found together in group exhibitions. This will also be a constant feature of the exhibition “Stromzähler 13 – Another Sphere” in the artists’ gallery. Unlike previous Stromzähler exhibitions, which drew attention to the shortcomings of cultural accessibility in apartments or vacant spaces, this group exhibition pursues an expanded interpretation of the original concept; Stromzähler is interested in an interpretation that is not intended to be didactic or instructive, but rather opens up new spaces for thought and perception.

BAYERISCHER KUNSTFÖRDERPREIS / BILDENDE KUNST 2025

ALEXANDRU SALARIU/N`DRU / .salariu operates an interdisciplinary sound practice which is characterised by precise conceptual content, critical appropriation and innovative reinterpretation. In interactive installations, in their sets, songs, performances and with their sound sculptures, they develop an ambiguous and multi-layered field of tension between references. The works deal with phenomena from pop and counter culture, politics and history, cisnormativity and q***r performance and petromasculinity. The forms, sounds and articulations of N’dru’s works resonate audibly and tangibly with their and our associations, environmental and bodily experiences, which they convey to us in technically perfect and low-threshold, captivating interactivity.
