„The US has violated international law and the terms of the UN charter, which was signed in October 1945 and designed to prevent another conflict on the scale of the second world war. A central provision of this agreement states that nations must refrain from using military force against other countries and must respect their sovereignty. The UN describes the crime of aggression as the „worst crime a nation can commit.“ There is no moral or legal justification for Trump’s action in Venezuela and is likely motivated purely by US economic interests that benefit from the seizure of Venezuelan oil production.
I’m disgusted as a citizen who wants to see the US show moral leadership. Regardless of your feelings about Maduro or Venezuela, aggression and kidnapping are shameful behaviors for the US to undertake. Don’t get confused by the Trump propaganda and pseudo justifications... the ends never justify the means! Trump’s actions outside of congressional approval should concern every US citizen.“

Vor gut 10 Jahren gelang es unserer Institution unweit des historisch denkwürdigen Münchner Königsplatz ein künstlerische Statement und Denkmal des unumstritten bedeutendsten lebenden Muralista unserer Zeit gemeinnützig umzusetzen.
Kein anderer Künstler der vergangenen Jahrzehnte prägte und inspirierte die Kunst im öffentlichen Raum auf eine so radikale Weise wie es dem anonymen italienischen Künstler BLU seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre gelang. Doch anders als die meisten der durch sein Schaffen inspirierten Künstlerinnen und Künstler lehnt kommerzielle Auftragsmalerei sowie die dekorative Aufhübschung des öffentlichen Raums kategorisch ab!
Das - nach der bewussten Zerstörung eines seiner weltweit wohl bekanntesten Werke an der Berliner Curvybrache - letzte auf deutschem Boden mit der Unterstützung von und dem damaligen CSU Kulturbürgermeister Josef Schmid .schmid.969 erschaffene Werk wurde wenige Jahre später in den bayerischen denkmalatlas aufgenommen.

Having a roof over your head is a right 🏠 No to evictions and the destruction of homes in Vallcarca(Spain).

Spain is facing a housing crisis that has rapidly become one of the most acute in Europe.
Since 2015, almost a tenth of the country’s housing stock has been taken over by investors or converted into tourist rentals. The shortage has contributed to prices rising much faster than wages, making affordable housing unaffordable for many. Investors are increasingly converting residential property into financial assets. The rise of global tourism has led landlords to favour short-term rentals over long-term protected tenants.
A once-lauded stock of social housing, which provided shelter for struggling families, has dwindled after governments sold it off to raise money.

Rental prices have risen by 57% in the country since 2015 and housing prices by 47%, while household incomes have grown by just 33%. A recent report by the Bank of Spain estimated that almost half of Spanish renters spend 40% of their income on rent and utility bills, compared to an EU average of 27%.

Other European cities have been hit by the housing crisis, but Barcelona has been hardest hit, with rents rising 68% in a decade, outstripping wage increases.

The city attracts some 15 million tourists a year and at the same time there are almost 5,000 homeless people.

In this moment of housing crisis, Barcelona city council has launched an eviction order for three council-owned buildings and two private plots of land where shanty settlements exist.
In total, the city council wants to evict 60 people, 15 of them minors and most of them in vulnerable situations.
