Most of you know us for our self-portraits, but du.spiegel.blitz is more than that — we are also a small, cozy atelier where creative people hang out and make magic happen together 💫

In the quiet of our studio, against the black backdrop and with no one behind the lens, the urge to „pose for others“ simply fades away. What remains is an honest look, raw emotions, and the freedom to experiment and see yourself from different angles.

We’ve worked hard to create a space that tells you: it’s okay to be yourself here 🖤

happy winter days wherever you are! 🤍

Maybe you already know that our cozy studio has also a creative space which is a venue for gatherings like workshops and concerts.

So let us tell about an upcoming magical event, a performance held by our dear musical friend ENEONA who embodies the worlds she creates, blending acoustic violin and gentle electronics to craft borderless folk that sounds both ancient and intimate. Singing in German, English, Ukrainian, and Russian, her music speaks straight to feeling rather than thought.

This will be a warm winter concert, a space to listen closely and share moments of presence, where you’re welcome to simply listen or join in through voice or percussion if you want to. just come in from the cold, stay a little longer, and share a quiet moment together.

When we say that you can even sit on the floor in our studio and take amazing portraits, we really mean it. The quality of the photos allows you to crop them into close-up portraits even in such cases. The main thing here is not to be afraid to experiment.
