Atelierstipendiat*innen 2026/27: Liv Rahel Schwenk
Liv Rahel Schwenk arbeitet interdisziplinär mit Performance, Video, Zeichnung, Text und Recherche. In ihren Arbeiten untersucht sie mit dem eigenen Körper räumliche, zeitliche und körperliche Grenzen und nutzt Video sowie Projektion, um diese Erfahrungen zu reflektieren. Ein Schwerpunkt ihrer Praxis liegt zudem auf Sprache, Übersetzung und kollaborativen Formaten wie Translation // Performance. Schwenk studierte Freie Kunst und Bildhauerei an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf und vertiefte in New York ihr Interesse an Tanz und Choreografie. Ihre Arbeiten wurden unter anderem in Düsseldorf, New York City und Köln gezeigt.
Liv Rahel Schwenk works across disciplines, incorporating performance, video, drawing, text and research. In her work, she uses her own body to explore spatial, temporal and physical boundaries, employing video and projection to reflect on these experiences. Her practice also focuses on language, translation and collaborative formats such as Translation // Performance. Schwenk studied Fine Art and Sculpture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and further developed her interest in dance and choreography in New York. Her works have been exhibited in Düsseldorf, New York City and Cologne, amongst other places.
