We invite you to join us for our closing gathering on 20 September at 4:30 PM, as we celebrate the end of a fantastic summer with Danh Vo.

The afternoon will feature a special performance by Jan Baltoffer, followed by a bar and communal dinner.

There will be an opportunity to purchase a light meal by Søren Aagaard, consisting of miso soup and a collaborative onigiri made by Kanae from Refshaleøen, using Aagaard’s Møn-based Ingrid pea miso. The meal will be accompanied by an audio excerpt from Aagaard’s performance work Cafe Zero, originally created for the Performa Biennial 2023 in New York.

JAN BALTOFFER

Raw abstraction with hymn-like streams of thought and energetic beats. An electronic pop haze envelops the spirits summoned by Christoffer Møller, Janus Nevel Ringsted and Balz Isler. Their improvisational act is less a concert than a performance happening — a sonic sculpture workshop filled with an abundance of images and expressions, where a poetic celebration unfolds.

This Saturday, we are pleased to invite you to a performance by Angelina Nonaj, marking the end of their residency at 44Møen, with a reading by Indigo Meara.

Angelina Nonaj is a poet and artist working across performative and participatory frameworks, lyrical writing, and experimental publishing. Their practice engages with the unstable and paradoxical shifts of language, form, and identity as generative tools to disrupt communicative hierarchies and open meaning beyond fixed borders.

For their intervention at 44Møen, they will present a performance developed during their one-week residency, in dialogue with the place and time of Møn.

The performance will be preceded by a reading by Indigo Meara, an artist, writer, and emerging curator based in Naarm/Melbourne, who will read a selection of her texts.

The evening will also be an occasion to present a collective publication featuring texts by artists who have performed at 44Møen this summer.

The bar will open from 19:00. Come by for a drink, enjoy the sunset, and spend sometime with us before and after the program.

The performance and reading begin at 19:30.

Coming from Copenhagen? The Fanefjordgade 75 bus stop is just a short walk from 44Møen, with convenient evening connections back to Copenhagen departing at 20:50
and 21:20.

For the rest of August, 44Møen will be open Thursday-Sunday, 11-17.

From September, the opening days will be Friday-Sunday, 11-17.

Danh Vo's exhibition at 44Møen will remain open until 20 September.

Kom og start en ny tradition med os og Isle of Møn Spirits! Isle of Møn Spirits Fredag d. 14/8 kl. 16-18 skal vi tegne og så serverer vi en drink lavet specielt til arrangementet. Det koster kun 100kr inkl en drink. Der vil være mulighed for et alkoholfrit alternativ. Du møder bare op, vi har tegneudstyr og man behøver ikke bestille billet. Vi ses fredag d. 14/8!

The new bookshop, developed in collaboration with Danh Vo, brings together a curated selection of publications, editions and ephemera that extend the ideas and atmosphere of the exhibition.

Take a moment to browse, read, or simply stay for a coffee on the upholstered chairs created especially for the space.

'All that prevents you from leaving, all that is your enemy' is on view until 20 September. We look forward to welcoming you.

Sommerens store udstilling på 44Møen præsenterer Danh Vo. Danh Vo præsenterer os
for et frøskelet, der møder en blomst. Knogler, der bliver til nærende mad. Antikke skåle
og egyptiske gravkamre, der bliver til nye mønstre.

Vi har inviteret den internationalt anerkendte kunstner Danh Vo til at omdanne 44Møen
til et eksperimentarium, hvor kunsten sætter rammen for møder mellem mennesker.
Årets program tager udgangspunkt i et suppekøkken og den vietnamesiske suppe Phõ.
